Marc M. Coupey graduated Columbia College in New York City with a degree in comparative literature. He excelled at the College, joined the crew team, had his poetry published and maintained his place on the Dean’s List. After working as a research paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, he earned his law degree from Cardozo Law School where besides being given a place on the International Law Review, he argued in the Supreme Court and Appellate Division as a part of Barry Scheck’s Criminal Law Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic. After law school he worked at a New York City criminal defense firm and practiced as a real estate/commercial litigator with Stuart A. Klein, Esq. before starting Marc M. Coupey Law, PLLC. His practice now includes commercial litigation focusing on property development, property damages, construction services, contracts, leases, financing and mortgages.
